The internationally acclaimed organist Iveta Apkalna, one of the world's leading organists, is finally returning to Basel. With her distinctive clarity and presence, she will present a concert evening that connects the vast, open sound of the organ with the themes of space and cosmos. The organ of St. Paul's Church is ideally suited for this: its expansive, resonant sound opens up acoustic spaces reminiscent of the dimensions and distances of outer space, creating an immediate and powerful sonic effect.
A simple light installation accompanies the concert and invites the audience to dream.
