Aaron Parks (p), Anders Christensen (b) and Cornelia Nilsson (dr)
A relaxed evening for jazz lovers in the wonderful Perron restaurant – followed by dinner, in the spirit of a cherished Interfinity tradition. The internationally acclaimed American pianist Aaron Parks, one of the most influential jazz musicians of his generation, is celebrated for his nuanced touch, harmonic depth, and the remarkable ease with which he shapes complex musical structures.
Joining him is Danish bassist Anders Christensen, a longstanding pillar of the European jazz scene, known for his warm sound, melodic sensibility, and unmistakable clarity. The trio is completed by Swedish drummer Cornelia Nilsson, one of the most distinctive voices on her instrument today, whose precise yet deeply musical playing has earned her significant international recognition in recent years.
Together they present a program curated especially for Interfinity – and for this year’s theme: Exoplanets & Cosmos. Inspired by the movements, vastness, and hidden architectures of the universe, the trio weaves a musical tapestry that moves effortlessly between improvisation and “cosmic” reflection: an evening of focus, lightness, and depth.
The concert can also be booked without dinner. To reserve a seat for the post-concert dinner, please write to office@interfinity.ch, indicating your preference for a meat or vegetarian option. Dinner is paid on site.
